Trick - Automatic Logon on Windows XP
If you are lazy to enter a password every time you log on to Windows XP then you can try this trick that can make you able to log on automatically in Windows XP. How to automatically logon in Windows XP:
1. Open the Registry Editor by clicking Start Menu -> Run. Type "regedit" (mark the quotes) -> press ENTER or click OK, then will show the Registry Editor window.
2. Sign in to key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Winlogon.
3. Right-click on the key "Winlogon" and select New -> String Value. Give the name of "AutoAdminLogon" and insert the value data with the number "1".
4. Right-click on the key "Winlogon" and select New -> String Value. Give the name of "DefaultPassword" and insert the value data with your password.
5. Right-click on the key "Winlogon" and select New -> String Value. Give the name "DefaultUserName" and insert the value data with your account.
6. Restart your computer. Then the computer will automatically logon
